Greek residency
There are several ways to apply for a Greek residency permit, depending on the personal circumstances of each applicant. Greece has a comprehensive residency permit legislation, containing several categories of residency permits.
The most common residency permits requested in recent years are the following:

Financially Independent Persons (FIPs)
Digital Nomads

In brief, if the applicant can demonstrate that they have monthly passive income exceeding EUR 3,500, they are considered to be FIPs.
The key condition for eligibility is demonstrating that the applicant meets the income threshold. The passive income should derive from investments, dividends, social security / pension, collecting rent, etc.
The spouses of the applicants are also eligible to apply, in which case the monthly passive income should exceed EUR 4,200. Children up to 21 years old (or 23 years old under certain conditions) are also eligible to receive a residency permit. For each child, the passive monthly income threshold is increased by 15%.
In brief, if the applicant can demonstrate that they have monthly active income exceeding EUR 3,500, they are eligible to apply as Digital Nomads.
The key condition for eligibility is demonstrating that the applicant meets the income threshold. The active income should derive from providing services remotely to an employer based outside Greece or as a self-employed person, also providing services outside Greece.
